I made McCall's 7744 well over 6 months ago, but per usual am finally finding time to blog this make! I started my second year of law school yesterday and of course had to show up in a me-made. I got so many compliments and of course a lot of my friends asking if I made the dress. They motivated me to finally blog these photos I took in Palm Springs during last year's Spring Break! Putting aside all of the normal issues we have with rompers (basically getting naked to pee?!), I have to say they're convenient like dresses as they're already a complete outfit, yet have the comfort and ease of having pants. However, sewing rompers can seem a little daunting given the fact that not only do you have to fit a bodice and also shorts (or pants), but you also have to take into account your torso length to ensure that everything sits properly.  Buying RTW rompers has forever been a

1 – Welcome to Blog Post 1! Today I am going to share with y’all my #2018MakeNine and a few other sewing resolutions.          So, for any of you who don’t know what the Make Nine is, it’s something that spread like wildfire across the sewing community on Instagram where sewists post the 9 patterns they want to sew this year. For me, I am aiming to expand my handmade wardrobe with some staples and workwear but still make a few luxurious pieces to keep it fun, my Make Nine reflects this.
