Life Giving Sleeves 06/24/2019 I love Simplicity 8644! I thought this pattern would be a lot harder to sew, but it came together SO easily, even the dauntingly gorgeous sleeves. I went with my usual size 14 for bust & waist and it fits wonderfully. I used a cotton blend I found on the remnant table at Michael Levine in the DTLA Fabric District. My only critique of this pattern is that it utilizes a button in lieu of a hole in the side seam for the tie to pass through. I prefer the tie wrapping all the way around as it

Strappy Back Red Romper 04/03/2019 Putting aside all of the normal issues we have with rompers (basically getting naked to pee?!), I have to say they're convenient like dresses as they're already a complete outfit, yet have the comfort and ease of having pants. However, sewing rompers can seem a little daunting given the fact that not only do you have to fit a bodice and also shorts (or pants), but you also have to take into account your torso length to ensure that everything sits properly.
